What is happening right on my doorstep? Not somewhere else, not at some point in the future but right here and now. This year’s annual exhibition by the BBK Hamburg showcases what artists in the city observe in the media and in their immediate surroundings and what inspires them to reflect.

Liv Pedersen is interested in the little things IN FRONT OF and BEHIND the door. Scraps of material she has found, things that have been overlooked or discarded. The tiniest thing becomes worthy of representation. It is given a place. The work "something puts itself into context" invites the viewer to compare the forms. The small appears large, reminiscent of aerial photographs of landscapes. The objects become places and these are related to one another.
