group show with Elena Greta Falcini, Katherina Heil, Alexander Johannes Heil & Liv Pedersen, Frappant Galerie, Hamburg
The exhibition “shaping transition” explores the theme of transitions. Through drawing, objects, installations, sound, performance, and video, the artists examine how change can be made visible and tangible. The focus is on the “in-between” — those moments when something is in the process of becoming and defies clear categorization.
The supporting program includes an interdisciplinary performance evening for the opening and a panel discussion with the artists and guests for the closing event. With additional contributions from Timoteo Carbone Hansson, Dr. phil. Kristin Drechsler, Johanna Joch, Jan-Domenic Urbas, Ksenia Sofia Miller, Linh Lê, Dr. Felicitas Holzer, and Jenni Schurr, a vibrant space for dialogue emerges in which transitions — as processes of change — become visible, audible, and open to discussion.
The exhibition was kindly supported by Frappant Galerie, Behörde für Kultur und Medien Hamburg, Claussen-Simon-Stiftung and Mondriaan Fonds.
